Lunar New Year provided a wonderful opportunity to bring colour, culture and celebration to Blackburn Square.

As Marketing Manager for Blackburn Square, I organised a beautiful Lunar New Year installation that created a striking focal point within the centre and provided the perfect backdrop for shoppers to enjoy and photograph.

The celebrations came to life with a traditional lion dance performance, filling the centre with music, energy and excitement. Shoppers gathered to watch the lions make their way through Blackburn Square, creating a memorable experience for families, retailers and the wider community.

The event was a fantastic way to celebrate Lunar New Year while strengthening Blackburn Square’s position as a welcoming, community-focused shopping destination.
