Hope you’re hungry! I dropped by newly opened The Collective Dumpling in Toorak Village. This new hot spot serves a delicious mix of northern and eastern Chinese food. Home made dumplings are their speciality. Let’s take a look at some of my delicious snaps – the honey chicken was my absolute fave!

A fabulous crowd gathered for the launch of the 2019 Toorak Village Sculpture Exhibition in the Tok H Centre on Thursday 2 May. On the night $16,500 worth of prizes were up for grabs, to be chosen from the 103 Australian-made sculptures placed on display throughout the streets and shops of Toorak Village. Eddie McGuire officially opened this leading art exhibition – let’s take a look at the night!
$16,500 worth of prizes were given away, with this year’s judge Graeme Wilkie. The winners are…
• Toorak Village Traders $10,000 – sculpture award winner: Taro Iiyama with “Vessel’ – No 61 in Alexanders Tabacco.
• Toorak Village Traders $2,500 – sculpture award winner: Oliver Ashworth-Martin with ‘Ausgmented Immortal – Eucalyptus’ – No 52 in Jasco Hair & Makeup in Toorak Place.
• Meridian Foundry $2,500 – Bronze Casting award winner: James Cattell with ‘Fisherman of Talaagzi’ – No 45 in Traffic.
• Judges Encouragement $1,500 award winner: Darren Gilbert with ‘Tear Envelope’ – No 55 in Corporate Health Management.
It was a fabulous night of frills & fashion in Toorak Village! Thurley’s founder & Creative Director Helen O’Connor was inducted into the What’s On Stonnington Hall Of Fame on Tuesday 26 February. The stylish event held in her honour was hosted at Mercedes-Benz Toorak. Let’s take a look at the action!

This year there is 97 contemporary sculptural works in the shop windows and on the sidewalks of Toorak Village.
An onlooker enjoys the work of artist Andrew Kasper, titled Journey in the Tok H Centre.
It’s the 17th year of the event and 88 artists have on display their sculptures that are all made in Australia.
